Q4 - Who would be the audience for your media product?

Q3 - What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

When creating my magazine I looked at lots of different magazines to get a true insight of what real magazines looked like and what I could possibly base my magazine on, I especially looked at Billboard magazine which is in the same genre as mine, which is pop. Billboard magazine is already out and is a very popular music magazine. Billboard and my music magazine also have the similar audiences as mine due to the colours used on both of our magazines. I chosen that my magazine would be available to my audience on the internet as well sold as hard copies too. I thought that putting my magazine available on the internet would be very effective as now a day a lot of people especially teenagers use the internet to read magazines. This is what I found out when I was doing my research for my magazine. Having my magazine available to view on  the internet this would also save money instead of having to pay for the printing of my magazine which would come at a big cost. I would want Bauer media to distribute my magazine as its Europe's largest privately owned publishing group. Also it has magazines in 15 different countries, which I would want mine to be a worldwide magazine. As well I would want my magazine available online for my audience to be able to access, so having Bauer would be helpful as they distribute on TV and radio too. Bauer distributes magazines such as Heat, this is another magazine which has a young target audience like my music magazine does. They also don't distribute any electronic dance music magazines which isn't my genre however they do distribute rock and pop. Bauer would also have a bigger budget as this will attract more of a big audience by having competitions, giveaways and big artists.

Q2 - How does your media product represent particular social groups?

Q1 - In what ways does your media product use, devolp or challenge forms and conventions of real media products

Throughout the making of my front cover, contents page and double page spread for continuity I think that it is very important to make sure that I have used the same front and the same colour scheme throughout my magazines which is purple, green and black. This is very important to make it look the most professional I can. When making my I made sure that I including stories that my target audience would be most interested in seeing and therefore then buying the magazine. I did a similar thing when I was creating my contents page as I needed to include stories on my contents page which will hook my audience to my magazine as the may flick through and quickly look through when buying it in a shop. I have tried to use, develop and challenge forms and conventions of real media products by what I have seen in my research from existing products. The numbers on the double page spread I had to make realistic by saying it was page 50, as this is where double page spread are usually are in magazines so to make mine most like a professional magazine I made later in the magazine.

Article for Double Page Spread

This week we have an interview with Peach Milk, the beautiful new pop star brought into this industry, she will be talking to us about the fight she had to become successful. She has been through of ups and downs and now has final got to wear she wants to be. She speaks about her tearful but joyful experiences which she has always dreamed of from being a little girl watching Katy Perry and Beyoncé on screen. This has truly been a world wind of a journey for only a 19 year old pop star.

What made you want to be a singer?
Since I was a little girl I have always dreamt of being in front of a crowd singing, what I love to do best. Music is my talent and always has being since I was little, now I am here doing what I love the most.

Is singing all about the fame?
I don’t think singing is about the fame at all, if anything I hate all the cameras being in my face just when I quickly go out just for a sandwich, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. But in a way I do like knowing people like listening to my music and knowing who I am for a good reason unlike some celebrities.

How did you get to where you are now?
I worked very hard to get to where I am now, I might have made some bad decisions but I defiantly learnt from them and now look where I am, the happiest I have every being. I don’t regret one thing about choosing this career choice.

Has your parents ever influenced your music?
Yes, a lot. I write my music on who are close to me whether this is thoughts, feelings whatever. When I am upset I write down how I feel then transfer this into a song. My mum and dad sometimes contribute to this which makes the song much more emotional for me to write, to sing and even to listen to.

Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
Hopefully I will still be writing and singing songs, as this is where my heart is truly at. But if it comes the time where I think I need to change my career path, and then I will. But I’m really not ready yet to think what I would like to do... My mind is just on music at the moment and that is all I’m bothered about.

Do you have any pop stars that you look up too?
I really do love BeyoncĂ©, and always listened to her music. Also I really like Bruno Mars as his music is always really happy and bouncy which I want mine to be like. From a young age I have always listened to pop music and have grew up with it this is why I’m so influenced by it now.

How many albums do you wish to complete in your time being in the music industry?
I wish to complete overall about 15 – 20 albums with songs that I have took care writing and which mean something really special to me.

How do you deal with hate?
I just have to get through people that don’t like me or my music, it doesn’t change the way I write or sing. I do what I want to do with my music and anyone that doesn’t like it; I won’t change for them, I will just focus on my fans and not let it get me down. My mum brought me up to not let people get me down.

What achievements do you have up to now?
I have sold about 80,000 albums up to now and I’m starting with my 2nd album which is coming along very well personally. I really want to play Wembley stadium in front of millions this is my long life dream. I have got nominated in the Music Awards 2013 for 2 different themes.
